Welcome back students! We hope you enjoyed your summer break and are excited to be back in Frostburg! Starting a new chapter in your life can be daunting so downtown Frostburg aims to be a welcoming place for anyone and everyone.

Here is a guide to the Burg to help you adjust back into college life.

Study

Do you get tired of studying in the same two places? Luckily there are lots of places in Frostburg where you can go to find your new favorite place to study. If you want easy access to coffee while studying, check out Mountain City Coffeehouse & Creamery and Clatter. Both have a wide variety of coffee and food options great for any student.

Shop

There is no shortage of cool places to shop in Frostburg. Looking for unique gifts for friends and family back home? Check out Old Forty Trading Co. to find Frostburg and mountain Maryland merch. If you are a bookworm, head over to Main Street Books to find your next read or some journals for school. For the vintage enjoyers, stop by Cauldron Vintage for some great vintage clothing, and visit GOT Toys for vintage toys and collectibles. Ladybug Boutique has a variety of items ranging from decor to clothes perfect for shopping around.

Eat

Even if you are a picky eater you’ll be able to find your new favorite restaurant in Frostburg. Fan of pizza? Try LG’s Pizzeria & Pub. Want to try something new? Check out Cafe Oasis. The Princess Restaurant offers more homestyle food for when you feel a little homesick.

Activities

Looking for something to do? Check out the GAP Trails and take in the beautiful scenery with a new pair of running shoes from Runners Wings. If you are looking to get into a new hobby keep an eye on The Frostburg Fiber Depot, which offers sewing and knitting classes. There are always great events happening in Frostburg.
